Welcome to Sweet Adeline’s Elderberry Company
We make all natural elderberry syrup using local elderberries (when possible/in season), honey & oranges from Redlands, California.
Owned by a mama. Made by a mama.
We proudly use certified organic elderberries from Three Sisters Farm located in Redlands, CA (when possible/in season). Jason, Abby, and their children are wonderful people and we love getting to support them by using their elderberries. And Adeline absolutely loves getting to visit their farm!
Elderberries are packed with antioxidants and vitamins and may give your immune system a serious boost.
When elderberries are not in season, we use certified dried organic elderberries from Mountain Rose Herbs. We purchase from Mountain Rose Herbs because we are able to look at the Certificate of Analysis for the elderberries ensuring that they are to our standards.
Honey & Oranges
We also use local, raw, unfiltered honey from Colony & Keeper and pesticide-free, local oranges from Glencairn Farms – both located in Redlands, CA.
We never heat the honey past 98.6 degrees to ensure that none of the antibacterial components or living enzymes are killed. Raw, local honey is a great source of antioxidants & anti-microbial agents and may help with seasonal allergies.
Due to the raw honey not being able to be heated, this syrup must be refrigerated or frozen.
The last of our ingredients (besides filtered water) are: organic ceylon cinnamon, organic grated ginger root, organic cloves, and organic turmeric, which all contain antioxidants and support a healthy immune system.
The Power of Sweet Adeline’s Elderberry Syrup
When you take Sweet Adeline’s Elderberry Syrup, you can rest assured every ingredient in it is something you can pronounce, something good for you, and something derived from nature. We don’t use any fillers, preservatives, thickeners, or artificial ingredients. And we only sell what we would give our family, too.
Elderberry syrup is primarily taken as a way to boost your vitamin and antioxidant intake. There are multiple studies suggesting that elderberry syrup may boost your immune system and shorten the duration of cold and flu viruses if taken at the first signs of sickness. And with the addition of raw honey and spices in our syrup, there may be anti-inflammatory effects and seasonal relief of allergies. We are all different and respond to products differently.
Many adults enjoy taking 1 tablespoon per day of Sweet Adeline’s Elderberry Syrup (not for children under 1 because of the raw honey) and children 1+ take 1 teaspoon. It’s tasty alone, or added to things like sparkling water, oatmeal, ice cream, tea, cocktails, etc.
